Dark Web Red Room

What is a Red Room? In addition to answering that, I’ll also be providing live links to Red Rooms which are functional as of April, 2022.

A large number of people believe Red Rooms are complete hoax and they do not exist at all. That’s debatable and not the purpose of this article.

If the case of Peter Scully and the basic human nature is any indication, Red Rooms are one of the most possible “enterprises”, especially given today’s technological advances.

Before we start, make sure you follow the security tips mentioned below just to be on the safer side.

Security tips for accessing dark web Red Rooms

Red Rooms are probably the “most illegal” aspect of the dark web. They’re the extremities. Hence, to make sure you’re truly untraceable make sure you follow the steps below exactly as mentioned:

  • Download TOR browser (Red Rooms are only available on the .onion network).
  • If you already have TOR, update it to the latest version.
  • Increase TOR security to the “safest” level (click on the shield on the top-right).
  • Download NordVPN (this isn’t optional. It may be optional when accessing darknet markets, however, clicking on Red Room links without a VPN Software is not very smart).
  • Connect to a “onion over VPN” server on NordVPN (Nord is one of the only 2 VPNs I’ve seen offer this mode, this is why I recommended NordVPN earlier).

Download NordVPN

[Optional]: If you wish to take things to the next level, download and install TAILS. It’s an advanced, LIVE USB-based OS. In other words, all and any actions conducted when on TAILS are 100% wiped off once you shut it down. However, this does require a bit of technical knowledge and isn’t mandatory.

Disclaimer

Going up to the homepage of these links is legal. However, if and when you make a payment or even register/signup on the platform, that’ll be an illegal act regardless of the site being legit or fake.

This article does not promote or encourage using Red Rooms in any way. The sole purpose of this article is to educate readers on what Red Rooms are.

All of your actions are solely your own responsibility.

What are dark web Red Rooms?

Rape & torture live streamed, on command. That’s the shortest and probably the most accurate red room definition I can come up with.

And no, they aren’t the same as porn or BDSM. In almost all the cases, the rape and torture are non-consensual and not scripted.  These are mostly kidnapped or trafficked victims.

In some cases, the victims are even underage! Another type of Red Rooms are where there’s no action. The victim is either tied or drugged and their struggle to free themselves is streamed.

These live streams aren’t free. People pay (generally huge sums) to witness these crimes. This is where the “on command” part comes in. Depending on the viewer’s package, he/she gets either viewing rights or “commanding rights”.

With commanding rights, the viewer (s) gets to choose what happens to the victim. They may request lashes, choking, insertion of objects, peeing on the person or basically anything else.

Some Red Rooms also have a “chat” option. They can chat either with the person carrying out the commands on the stream, or among themselves (other viewers).

This is streamed over Tor which ensures privacy and anonymity for both the streamer as well as the viewer.

After the stream, some Red Rooms also provide a recorded video of the stream. This too is paid but is generally cheaper than the live streams.

The [scam] problems with Red Rooms

Every single Red Room page I’ve seen is always a paywall.

Meaning, there’s a single-page website on the dark web with a timer and a Bitcoin deposit address.  The timer supposedly shows when the next stream will be.

The problem is, any and all access to the stream is only provided after the user deposits payment to the Bitcoin address.

As a result, 90% o the Red Room pages/websites on the Tor network are scams. It’s extremely easy to set a one-page website up, put up a timer and a BTC address.

Because these are on the Tor network, it’s extremely hard to trace these website owners which further fuels their confidence.

The review/proof problems with Red Rooms

If Red Rooms exist, why are there no reviews from viewers? Why isn’t social media/Reddit flooded with links to these legitimate Red Rooms?

The answer is pretty straightforward, it’s illegal. Imagine you paid to watch someone get raped and tortured. That makes you an accomplish in the crime. Would you go over social media sharing screenshots of the event? You wouldn’t.

Let’s say you used a VPN and are 100% sure of your anonymity. Even in that case, the “social and moral” convictions kick in.  No one wishes to be  viewed as a rapist even if you’re just a random username on the internet.

Hence, even though these rooms do exist, they are a well-kept secret.

Signing up at dark web Red Rooms

So, if Red Rooms are real, how do you sign up? First and foremost, you shouldn’t. These are illegal. However, just for the sake of the “how”, let me briefly discuss the process.

The more common process on legit Red Rooms is via an “invite”. You must know a previous customer/viewer of the platform. He/she can share an invite code/ custom URL of some sort with you and only then you get access.

In very rare cases, even third-party software is used. After making the payment, you’re asked to download a software which will stream the content for you.

Directly signing up at Red Rooms isn’t impossible, however, this is extremely rare considering the sensitivity of the topic. Most direct signups are fake and scams.

Dark Web Red Room access links

These are some of the links which currently exist on the dark web and claim to be Red Rooms.

Do note that I’ve not verified the legitimacy of these links. They’re “live” but do they really offer Red Room content? I’ve no idea.  If they indeed are Red Room links, it’ll be illegal to access them.

Hence, note that any and all your actions are solely and exclusively your own responsibility. This article and its creators can’t be held responsible if you’re scammed out of your money or land in any legal trouble.

Dark web Red Room live link 1

Link: http://roomtiz2hc3ogq47lzrw2np4umccopnammw6vbdmlvgzofxcedfayqqd.onion/redroom.php

The page has very standard and expected homepage with the timer,

It offers 3 packages, Spectator, Commander and Grand Master. Each plan costs 0.0644 BTC, 0.1289 BTC, and 0.5372BTC respectively.

The site automatically generates a username and a password along with the BTC address. These credentials supposedly become valid once you’ve made your payment.

This Red Room doesn’t share videos of previous streams.

Darknet Red Room access link 2

Link: http://cjfvumiaq4glcxg3ofbu737jvsjhjep5vqx5btvuub7xt4sl4sudznqd.onion/redroom.php

A page which looks very similar to the link we shared above, however, it’s not identical.  This is way more expensive than the link above.

It too has 3 packages, Spectator, Commander and Master. Spectator costs 0.5BTC, Commander costs 1BTC and Master costs 5 BTC. Seats are limited.

It does provide videos of previously recorded streams. This costs 0.2BTC.

Username and password aren’t auto-generated and need to be generated after payment manually.

Real Red Room access link 3

Link: redroom333og3zqqkadfsp72p6soii35vjdgt5

I’m not saying this is a real red Room. The site simply claims to be like many others. It looks slightly different from the once I’ve already shared.

On the homepage, you get two options- “Join” or “Leave”. Clicking on “Leave” takes us to a link directory. Clicking on “Join” takes us to the payment page.

Again, the three modes are listed. However, the prices are mentioned in BTC as well as in USD. The payment obviously must be done only via BTC.

This is probably the cheapest Red Room site I’ve seen. The spec mode only costs 0.00143BTC or about 65 USD. The Commander mode is 10x what spec costs and is priced at about 650 USD. Finally, the Master pack is 10x what Commander costs and is about 6500 USD, still way cheaper than most other options, isn’t it?

Darknet Red Room link 4

Link: http://mddfqs6qzs3vqzlyi7oukkwsocfilrk2tnxubv3auxsqellxijcxwsqd.onion/

This is the only Red Room I’ve ever seen which doesn’t have the traditional “red background, bloody text” homepage. It has normal text, on a white background.

The three modes exist here as well, each cost 0.05BTC, 0.4BTC and 1 BTC respectively.  The last event can be downloaded for 0.03BTC.

Username/password aren’t pre-generated, they need to be created after payment. Returning viewers get a discounts.

So, those were the active Red Room links on the Tor network as of now. Let’s wrap this piece up?

FAQs

Red Rooms aren’t very frequented topics on the internet. Hence, let me answer some of the most basic questions you may have about them.

#1. Are there any legal red rooms?

No. Red Rooms are always illegal. There may be porn sites on the clearnet where you get to command and fulfil your BDSM fantasies over live stream. However, that wouldn’t be a Red Room.

#2. Can you be traced back if you use a Red Room?

Fortunately, yes. Red Rooms may not require registration and may be on the Tor network. However, Tor relays aren’t 100% untraceable. Given enough resources, your original IP may be revealed.

This can be avoided if you use a VPN. With a good VPN, your IP can’t be revealed even if the VPN provider wants to share it with a third-party simply because they do not store logs.  You can give NordVPN a try.

#3. How do you know if a Red Room is legit?

You don’t. The only way to trust a Red Room is if you’re in contact with a previous viewer, whom you trust to not be lying.

Wrapping up- Dark web Red Rooms

That’s about it folks. I’m pretty sure you’ve got an idea as far as the basics of Red Rooms go, what they (claim to) offer, how to get in (or not) and how to get your security right.

If you ever do find a real Red Room, which is actually streaming rape/torture or anything that’s illegal, it’s best you contact the authorities.

I’ll sign off this piece for now. Feel free to check some of the other articles I’ve published, I promise they’re just as interesting as these dark web Red Room links.
